Brief synopsis: Forrest McNeil (Andy Daily) hosts a TV show where he reviews "life itself." Each episode features three reviews of user suggested experiences. On its face a rather simple premise for what I assumed would be just a goofy show, but instead it's quite complex as the show shows us Forrest's personal relationships and how they are affected by trying out each thing he's asked to review. Reviewing being a racist, for example, fractures his friendship with a black neighbor. And his review of quitting cocaine doesn't go quite as well as one might hope. The season finale, however, is quite extrodinary. It stretched the faux-documentary style of the show to it's limit, ending in a way that leaves a lot of unanswered questions, but would make for a shocking series finale if the show never getts a second season. My review of Review: 5 Stars.
